About The Auxiliary

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Romans 8:28

Who is the Auxiliary?

Many people have supported Big Oak Ranch in various ways through the years. In August 2006, Phyllis DePiano and Joann Bashinsky felt God was calling them to organize an Auxiliary giving support to Big Oak Ranch.  After much planning, The Auxiliary of Big Oak Ranch became a Publicly Supported Organization 501(c) (3) non-profit business, and as such functions as a fundraising and volunteer service group, formed to promote and further the mission of Big Oak Ranch helping children needing a chance.

What is the Big Oak Ranch?

Big Oak Ranch exists to meet the needs of abused, neglected and abandoned children by giving them a solid, Christian home and a chance to realize and fulfill God’s plan for their lives.

"Our children are not bad kids, they just come from bad circumstances."

Since 1974, more than 2000 children have called Big Oak home. Currently serving 140 children.

The cornerstone of Big Oak Ranch has remained fundamentally rooted in Isaiah 61:3,

“And they shall be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that He may be glorified.”
